Junior AV Installer

Role Summary

We are looking for a Junior AV Installer to support the installation, testing, and maintenance of audio-visual (AV) systems at customer sites. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on technical work and are keen to build a career in the AV industry. You will work closely with Senior AV Installers, Project Managers, and Service Engineers on AV installation projects across Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of AV systems, including displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, cameras, and related equipment.
• Pull, route, terminate, label, and manage AV, data, speaker, and control cabling.
• Support AV rack assembly, equipment installation, cable management, and system setup.
• Prepare tools, materials, and equipment for installation activities.
• Assist with equipment delivery, staging, loading, and unloading.
• Perform basic cable and equipment testing and assist with system commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Update installation documentation, equipment records, and project checklists.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while complying with workplace safety requirements.
• Report installation issues, damaged equipment, and safety concerns promptly.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in AV installation, structured cabling, electrical works, construction, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Fresh candidates with a strong interest in AV installation are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, AV equipment, and structured cabling.
• Able to read technical drawings and follow installation procedures.
• Responsible, safety-conscious, and willing to learn.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willing to travel to customer sites across Singapore and support after-hours work when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of AV systems and IP networking.
• Experience in equipment installation or cable termination.
• Relevant workplace safety certifications will be an advantage.
• Valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence is preferred.
