Junior Backend Developer (Golang)
Summary
An entry-level backend role in Tangerang, Indonesia: building and maintaining Golang backend applications and REST APIs, integrating with PostgreSQL, writing queries, debugging, and assisting with testing, deployment, and maintenance while collaborating with frontend, QA, and business teams.
Develop and maintain backend applications using Golang. Create and develop REST APIs according to application and business needs. Perform backend integration with PostgreSQL database, create queries, and manage data. Debug, troubleshoot, and fix bugs in applications. Write clean, reusable, and maintainable source code. Assist with unit testing and integration testing on backend applications. Use Git for source code management and version control. Collaborate with Frontend Developers, QA, Business Analysts, and related teams in the development process. Support application deployment and maintenance.
Key responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend applications using Golang
Create and develop REST APIs according to application and business needs
Perform backend integration with PostgreSQL database
Create queries and manage data in PostgreSQL
Debug, troubleshoot, and fix bugs in applications

About you
Minimum S1 education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field
0-2 years of experience as a Backend Developer or Software Developer
Fresh graduates with project or internship experience using Golang may be considered
Understanding of basic programming using Golang
Understanding of REST API concepts and client-server architecture
Experience or understanding of PostgreSQL
Understanding of basic SQL such as SELECT, JOIN, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, and database relationships
Understanding of basic backend development and database concepts
Familiar with Git or version control
Understanding of debugging and error handling concepts
