Junior backend engineer (1-3 years) building large-scale services and real-time fraud/risk-control systems in Golang or Java, using Kafka, Redis, MySQL and Elasticsearch, for a tech giant's payments/e-commerce platform in Singapore. Mandarin Chinese is required to collaborate with regional stakeholders.
I'm currently partnering with a tech giant to hire Backend Engineers
What you'll be working on- Develop and optimize large-scale backend services using Golang or Java .
- Build real-time risk control systems for fraud detection and transaction monitoring.
- Develop high-performance services for high-concurrency and low-latency environments.
- Work with technologies such as Kafka, Redis, MySQL, and Elasticsearch .
- Collaborate closely with Product, Data, and Risk teams to build scalable platform capabilities.
- Contribute to system performance, reliability, and availability improvements.
- 1-3 years of backend development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Golang or Java .
- Experience with high-traffic platforms, distributed systems, or large-scale backend services .
- Hands-on experience with MySQL, Kafka, Redis, and/or Elasticsearch .
- Familiarity with microservices and distributed architecture .
- E-commerce, payments, fintech experience is highly preferred.
- Mandarin Chinese speaking ability is required to collaborate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and regional engineering teams.
