Junior Business Intelligence Analyst

Summary

Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and SQL reports to turn business data into actionable insights for stakeholders.

Will be required to design, develop, and deploy business analytics dashboards and reports using Microsoft BI technologies such as SQL Server, Power BI, SSRS, etc.
Extract data intelligence and reduce the load that manual reporting has on stakeholders.
Develop and execute new data analysis policies.
Build and verify new data models that help in decision-making.
Collaborate with the team to improve data analytics and business intelligence techniques.
Engage with stakeholders to understand their pain points/opportunities, convert business requirements into technical specifications, and communicate the timeline to accomplish tasks.
Provide guidance to the business on BI best practices.
Quickly shape data into reporting and analytics solutions.
Create automated dashboards and visual interactive reports using Power BI.
Identify KPIs with clear objectives and monitor them consistently.
Design, develop, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform detailed analysis.
Create charts and document data with algorithms, parameters, models, and relations explanations.
Perform SQL querying for best results.
Use filters and graphs for a better understanding of the data.
Knowledge of database fundamentals, i.e., multidimensional database design, relational database design, etc.

B Degree / equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledgeable in data visualisation techniques to generate meaningful insights for business decision making.
Experience collaborating with financial teams.
Experienced in tools and systems on MS SQL Server BI Stack, SSRS and TSQL, Power Query, PowerBI.
Good interpersonal skills.
Must be able to fit into a multi-faceted team.
