Junior CA - Finance Manager

Job Overview

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2–5 years of post-qualification experience to support and manage key Finance & Accounts activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Finance & Accounts operations and ensure accurate accounting records.
  
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
  
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis.
  
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund requirements.
  
• Ensure compliance with Ind AS, Companies Act, GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, and other statutory requirements.
  
• Coordinate and support statutory, internal, and tax audits.
  
• Manage and review Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), fixed assets, and account reconciliations.
  
• Support timely month-end and year-end book closure activities.
  
• Assist in payroll accounting and statutory compliance.
  
• Prepare financial analysis, profitability reports, and other reports required by management.
  
• Identify opportunities for cost control, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
  
• Assist in developing and maintaining finance policies, SOPs, and internal controls.
  
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and other external stakeholders.
  
• Support senior management in financial planning and business decision-making.
  
• Guide and coordinate with junior members of the finance team when required.
  
  

Required Skills

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
  
• 2–4 years of post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounts.
  
• Strong knowledge of Ind AS, Companies Act, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and ROC compliances.
  
• Hands-on experience in accounting, financial reporting, taxation, audits, and reconciliations.
  
• Experience in AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, and month-end closing.
  
• Working knowledge of ERP/Accounting tools such as Zoho Books, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or Tally.
  
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and basic financial modelling knowledge.
  
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
  
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a SaaS, IT, technology, or product-based company.
  
• Exposure to SaaS revenue recognition and subscription-based business models.
  
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and business finance.
  
• Exposure to investor reporting, fundraising, or due diligence activities.
  
• Strong business acumen and a proactive, ownership-driven approach.
