Junior Charging Engineer

Purpose of the job

The role involves designing and developing the new IN products and services in accordance with assessing and applying the commercial and business projects requirements.

Duties and responsibilities:

Assess technically the projects requested by different teams to make sure they meet the KPI and performance requirements.

Contribute in setting the new solutions.

Develop the new CRs on IN and supporting nodes.

Support the IN Charging Operations.

Audit the system logs and behavior to ensure system performance.

Correlate and administrate the incident solving actions.

Validate the data charging testing scenarios and coordinate with the Revenue Assurance Team.

Deliver the Level 2 support for data stream platforms to apply the best solutions to problems to avoid any impact on customers.

Troubleshoot problems and customer complaints by analyzing traces to minimize the time of problem solving.

Automate manual tasks to have automation-controlled work processes.

Perform the needed reporting and data extraction tasks.

Job specification

Education
B.Sc in Telecommunication, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.

Experience
From 0-2 years of experience in a relevant area. Experience on IN product and services systems.

Skills and abilities
Skills in UNIX scripting, Oracle, and programming skills.
Knowledge about GSM system hierarchy.
SS7 signaling knowledge.
Very good English both written and spoken.
Very good computer skills.
Very good communication skills and able to solve dispute issues with win-win solutions.
High business sense.
