JUNIOR CLOUD ENGINEER

Assists in deploying and managing cloud infrastructure for financial applications, monitors system health, and supports CI/CD pipelines under senior guidance.

The Junior Cloud Engineer will assist in deploying and managing cloud resources, supporting application environments, and ensuring basic system reliability under the guidance of senior engineers. This role is ideal for early-career professionals looking to build a career in cloud computing, DevOps, and infrastructure engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure environments.
- Support deployment of applications to cloud platforms.
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and basic infrastructure health.
- Assist in configuring cloud resources such as compute, storage, and networking.
- Support troubleshooting of infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Work with senior engineers to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Participate in CI/CD pipeline support and basic automation tasks.
- Document infrastructure setups, processes, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support environment stability.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience (internships, academic projects, or bootcamps included).
- Familiarity with operating systems (Linux basics preferred).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Technical Skills
- Cloud Basics: Amazon Web Services / Azure / GCP (fundamental knowledge)
- Basic networking concepts (DNS, IPs, load balancing awareness)
- Version control: Git / GitHub / GitLab
- Scripting basics: Python or Bash (nice to have)
- CI/CD awareness (intro level)
