Junior Cloud Integration Developer (AWS/healthcare interoperability solutions using X12, HL7 and FHIR

IGS is currently recruiting a remote Junior Cloud Integration Developer to support our work with a federal customer.

Assignment of Work and Travel:

This is a remote access assignment. The Candidate will work remotely daily and will remotely access customer systems and therein use approved customer provided communications systems. Travel is not required; however, the candidate may be required to attend onsite client meetings as requested.

The Junior Cloud Integration Developer will help design, build, and support cloud-based integration solutions across enterprise platforms.

In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams to deliver resilient, scalable, and secure integrations using Kubernetes, AWS integration services, HL7/FHIR standards, Argo CD, observability tooling, and service mesh technologies.

Responsibilities and Duties (Included but not limited to):

• Design and implement cloud-based integration solutions using Kubernetes
• Develop integrations leveraging AWS integration services and cloud-native capabilities
• Build and support healthcare interoperability solutions using X12, HL7 and FHIR
• Enable continuous delivery through Argo CD and modern deployment workflows
• Support observability, monitoring, and alerting using Datadog or similar tools
• Implement telemetry, logging, tracing, and performance visibility across integration services
• Work with Istio or similar service mesh technologies to improve traffic management, security, and resilience
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to establish reusable integration patterns and standards
• Troubleshoot integration issues, identify root causes, and support production stability
• Maintain technical documentation, deployment standards, and operational procedures
• Other duties as assigned
