Junior Terrain QA Analyst
We are a well-established team based in Prague (Czech Republic), developing world-leading military simulations for major NATO powers and their allies. We constantly seek ways to advance the industry using the latest technologies and trends (such as whole-world simulations, motion tracking, VR, and AR).
We believe in saving lives through simulations.
Your job will be totally different from what you expect
- You'll join our Content Group as a Junior Terrain QA Analyst, overseeing the quality of our 3D terrain and geospatial content throughout development and reporting on its health to the people who depend on it.
- We give you freedom and responsibility to do things well, support you, train you, and teach you. We have a relaxed environment where we aim not to limit our staff with too many regulations. We trust you.
- You'll learn to read, interpret, and write basic scripting, use developer consoles to inspect code, test, and debug terrain content, and build a clear, well-documented paper trail for every bug you log.
- You will work within a cross-functional team, following established QA processes and workflows, and gradually take on more independent tickets as you grow into the role.
- Our business has a worthy cause: the work we do has an actual impact on making the world a safer place.
Do you think you have what it takes?
- You pay close attention to detail, especially when naming, tagging, and documenting assets.
- You proactively take on issues and work to get them fixed, aiming for a long-term solution.
- You are not afraid to talk to people and communicate clearly about what you're testing.
- You take ownership of your work, and you're able to react to change and improvise.
- You are not afraid to acknowledge mistakes, and you are willing to analyze them and learn from them.
- You have a passion for what you do and are hungry for knowledge.
Nice to have:
- Prior work experience with QA.
