¡Hola y bienvenido/a a Sungrow! We are looking for a proactive Contracts & Legal Advisor to support our business in Spain during a maternity leave cover. In this role, you will help our commercial and operational teams move forward with confidence by providing practical, business-oriented legal guidance. Curious? Let’s dive right in:

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a broad range of commercial agreements, including sales, supply, service, procurement, confidentiality, and partnership contracts.
  • Provide clear, pragmatic legal advice to Sales, Project Management, Service, Finance, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Identify contractual, commercial, and regulatory risks and propose practical mitigation measures.
  • Support the full contract lifecycle, from template preparation and negotiations through execution, amendments, and contract administration.
  • Ensure contracts and internal processes align with applicable Spanish law, company policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with EMEA Legal colleagues and external counsel on complex legal matters, claims, disputes, and corporate topics.

That sounds exciting, right? To feel confident and successful in this role, your background could look like this:

  • You hold a degree in Law and are qualified to practise law in Spain or have equivalent relevant legal training.
  • You bring solid professional experience in commercial contracts, ideally gained in an international company, law firm, or renewable energy environment.
  • You are confident negotiating complex commercial agreements and translating legal requirements into clear business recommendations.
  • You have a practical understanding of Spanish commercial, corporate, and contract law, with exposure to compliance and data protection being a plus.
  • You work independently, stay organised under changing priorities, and bring strong attention to detail.
  • You communicate confidently with diverse stakeholders and have Spanish and English at C1 level; additional European languages are a plus.
Join Sungrow’s Legal team and help enable the commercial growth of a leading clean-energy business in Spain. You will work closely with teams shaping solar and energy-storage projects, gain exposure to international legal matters, and make a tangible impact through practical, solutions-focused advice in a collaborative EMEA environment.
