Our partner is looking for an Order Management Specialist to support the end-to-end processing of product and service orders while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage orders in SAP based on approved quotations
- Configure products according to customer requirements and ensure order accuracy
- Coordinate order fulfillment, delivery confirmations, and shipment arrangements with customers
- Handle order modifications in cooperation with internal teams such as logistics and sales
- Prepare shipping documentation, customs paperwork, and invoices
- Manage service-related inquiries through Salesforce and provide customer support
- Prepare quotations for spare parts, repairs, and other services, and follow up on outstanding offers
- Convert confirmed quotations into orders and coordinate open issues with internal stakeholders
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 0-3 years of experience in customer service, order management, or a similar role, preferably within an SSC environment
- Experience with SAP and/or Salesforce is an advantage
- Fluency in English and German
- Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence
- Knowledge of customs procedures and invoicing processes is a plus
