Junior Data Analyst at eMAG, a large e-commerce group, working hybrid from its headquarters. Junior Data Analyst
What you’ll have to do:
- Build up strong relationships with suppliers to deliver effective and profitable plans.
- Drive the conception, implementation, and development of the BI reporting landscape. This includes understanding stakeholder business needs, drafting specifications and monitoring/reviewing implementation with the BI team;
- Act as a business partner and advisor for the commercial and financial department. Some recurrent needs can be solved with the help of the BI team, while other custom solutions should be provided by us. This means accessing and processing the data in a way that answers those needs;
- Present results in a well-structured, efficient, and clear manner;
- Derivate strategic recommendations based on comprehensive data analysis;
- Standardize processes and reporting for enhanced efficiency;
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and draw conclusions related to profitability, deliveries, product availability, active promotions, inventory levels, etc. based on stakeholder requests;
- Offer support on data gathering, consolidation and verifications within the finance team.
What makes you a good fit:
- 1-2 years of professional experience in data analysis;
- Extensive knowledge of Excel and writing SQL queries;
- Intermediate knowledge of BI tools (Tableau);
- Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, with a focus on quality, detail, and accuracy;
- Quick comprehension and ability to grasp new topics in detail;
- Enthusiasm for developing, organizing, and analyzing large datasets;
- Ability to describe complicated issues concisely and understandably;
- High-quality standards for your own work;
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
