Junior Data Analyst
Summary
Analyzes sales, stock, and financial data to spot trends, builds reports and dashboards in Power BI/SQL, and supports forecasting and business performance reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analysing sales, stock, and financial data to identify trends and actionable insights
- Monitoring inventory movement and highlighting risks or opportunities
- Preparing regular reports, dashboards, and management information for stakeholders
- Supporting the development and maintenance of reporting tools and business intelligence solutions
- Performing data validation and ensuring accuracy across reporting outputs
- Assisting with forecasting, planning, and business performance analysis
- Collaborating with Finance, Procurement, Operations, and IT teams to support reporting needs
- Responding to ad hoc data requests and business queries
- Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field
- 0â2 yearsâ experience in a data, reporting, finance, or analytics environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, or similar tools advantageous
