Junior Data & BI Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a junior colleague (0-2 years of experience) eager to grow in the world of data analytics and Business Intelligence, participating in real projects that help transform a leading business group in logistics and transport.

What you'll do

• Create dashboards and reports in Power BI.

• Transform and prepare data using Power Query.

• Develop metrics and KPIs using DAX.

• Perform SQL queries to extract and analyze information.

• Participate in ETL processes to integrate data from multiple systems.

• Collaborate with users from different departments to understand their information needs.

• Learn and work with cloud technologies in Microsoft Azure.

• Get started in Artificial Intelligence projects applied to business.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Telecommunications, or similar.

• We will also value profiles from Higher Vocational Training (DAM, DAW, ASIR, or other technological specialties) with an interest in data analysis.

• Knowledge of Power BI.

• Data modeling with Power Query.

• Creation of reports and metrics using DAX.

• Knowledge of SQL and the ability to perform queries and views.

• Basic knowledge of cloud environments, especially Azure (or equivalent experience in AWS or Google Cloud).

• Academic or professional experience in ETL processes and data processing.

Nice to have

It will be a plus if you also have...

• Basic or intermediate knowledge of Python.

• Interest in Artificial Intelligence and new technologies.

• Experience or knowledge of SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).

• Knowledge of Azure Databricks.

• Familiarity with AI services in Azure.

• Knowledge of APIs and consumption of REST services.

• Experience with Git or version control systems.
