Junior Data Center Engineer

We're looking for a Junior Data Centre Engineer to support a major client's DC project in Amsterdam. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with ongoing training, paid overtime, and real opportunities to progress. Optional travel across Europe - with all travel and accommodation covered.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Installing and terminating structured cabling (copper and fibre) to a high standard
  • Rack and stack of servers, switches, and network hardware
  • Cable pulling, dressing, and containment
  • Hardware installation, decommissioning, and fault resolution
  • Liaising directly with the client on site - providing updates and representing the team professionally

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years' data centre experience, ideally cabling-biased
  • Strong skills across structured cabling: terminating, rack and stack, cable pulling
  • Solid hardware experience
  • Excellent communication skills - this is a client-facing role requiring professional, fluent English
  • Comfortable with physical work, including lifting heavy equipment
  • Able to work a continental shift pattern
