OneFamily is looking for a Junior Data Engineer to join our collaborative Data Engineering team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You’ll help design, build and support reliable data pipelines, integrations and cloud-based data products in Azure—turning business requirements into well-engineered solutions that support our strategic goals.
What you’ll do:
- Develop, test and maintain data pipelines and ELT/ETL processes.
- Use SQL and modern Azure tools to create secure, scalable data solutions.
- Contribute to technical design, testing, deployment and production support.
- Work with engineers, analysts, architects and change colleagues in an agile environment.
- Improve data quality, reliability and operational efficiency.
What we’re looking for:
You’ll have practical experience in data engineering, software development, analytics engineering or a related technical role, with working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, data modelling and source control. You’ll be methodical, curious and proactive, with clear communication skills and a commitment to quality. Exposure to Azure, dbt, Python, Terraform, Power BI or CI/CD is welcome, but not essential.
