Junior Data Engineer
Summary
Junior Data Engineer in AXA's General Insurance Data Engineering Team (London, hybrid). Day to day: build and maintain reliable data pipelines, write Python and SQL for ETL, run data quality checks, monitor scheduled jobs, and collaborate with analysts to translate data requirements into solutions.
In this role you will help build and maintain data pipelines to deliver reliable data that informs business decisions. You’ll work within the General Insurance Data Engineering Team to ensure data flows are robust and support insights across AXA Insurance. You will write Python and SQL, perform data quality checks, and collaborate with analysts to translate data requirements into effective solutions. The position offers hybrid work with increasing in-office presence over time and the chance to grow your data engineering skills in a large, customer-focused insurer.
