Junior Data Engineer
Summary
Junior data engineer supporting the development and maintenance of data pipelines, the data warehouse, and ETL processes, including integrating data from systems like Microsoft D365 and preparing clean datasets for analytics and reporting. Core stack is SQL, Power BI, and Python, with AI/ML and automation initiatives on the side.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and data warehouse
- Assist in integrating data from systems such as Microsoft D365
- Help prepare clean, reliable datasets for analytics and reporting
- Work with the team to develop ETL processes and improve data workflows
- Explore and support AI/ML and automation initiatives
- Use modern tools (e.g., Copilot, AI-assisted development) to improve productivity
- Document processes and share knowledge with the team
What We’re Looking For:
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Power BI and Python
- Understanding of data concepts (databases, ETL, data pipelines)
- Exposure to tools like PySpark, Azure Data Factory, or Synapse is a plus
- Interest in AI/ML technologies
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced environment
