Te Tūranga - The Role
Join us this summer and contribute to the development of a unified customer feedback strategy for Tait Hub and other Tait web platforms. This project aims to improve how customer feedback is collected, managed, and used to inform future product development.
Working across the full UX/UI lifecycle, you'll help identify design constraints, gather stakeholder requirements, and design scalable feedback solutions that enable customers to provide feedback seamlessly at relevant touchpoints.
You will have the opportunity to:
Research stakeholder needs and design constraints to inform feedback solutions.
Analyse customer feedback journeys across Tait's web platforms to identify improvement opportunities.
Design and prototype scalable feedback mechanisms for web-based experiences.
Contribute across the UX/UI lifecycle, from research and ideation through to validation.
Apply Tait's design system to create intuitive and consistent user interfaces.
Explore opportunities to integrate and centralise customer feedback across existing platforms and tools.
Throughout the internship, you'll contribute to establishing a cohesive feedback strategy that strengthens the connection between customer insights and product development while supporting future web platform development across Tait.

This opportunity is ideal for a student with a strong interest in UX/UI Design and the end-to-end design process.
You may be studying UX/UI Design or a related discipline and have:
Experience using Figma or similar interface design tools.
An interest in customer research, including interviewing and feedback collection.
An understanding of, or interest in, design systems.
An interest in designing intuitive user experiences and feedback mechanisms.
Most importantly, you're excited by the opportunity to contribute across the full design lifecycle, from research and discovery through to design, prototyping, and validation, while helping shape how customer feedback informs future product development at Tait.
