Junior Designer cum Project Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

Design & Creative Development

• Assist in developing creative concepts, 2D/3D designs, and visual presentations for events, exhibitions, theatre productions, and installations.

• Prepare technical drawings, fabrication drawings, and production layouts.

• Produce design mock-ups, material references, and presentation visuals.

• Revise drawings and designs based on client feedback and production requirements.

• Work closely with the fabrication team to ensure designs are practical and achievable.

Project Coordination

• Assist in planning and coordinating projects from design development to installation and completion.

• Liaise with clients, suppliers, contractors, and internal production teams.

• Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and production progress.

• Coordinate materials, procurement, and fabrication requirements.

• Conduct site visits, take measurements, and assist with site coordination.

• Support installation, dismantling, and on-site project execution.

• Prepare project documentation, progress updates, and reports.

Job Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other relevant design software.

• Basic understanding of materials, construction methods, and technical drawings is an advantage.

• Good organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Able to manage multiple projects and work within tight deadlines.

• Willing to visit project sites and work closely with production teams.

• Responsible, proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn.
