Summary

The Junior Developer – BMC Helix Platform role involves supporting the development, configuration, and maintenance of business workflows in the BMC Helix ecosystem, contributing to global IT operations within a matrix organization.

Main Responsibilities

• Handle incidents and service requests in BMC Helix, including logging, triage, and resolution, adhering to ITIL processes and SLAs.
• Diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and apply fixes.
• Update tickets with accurate information including categorization and actions taken.
• Monitor assigned queues, follow up on pending items, and escalate critical cases.
• Contribute to knowledge articles and document resolutions.
• Assist in the development and configuration of BMC Helix solutions.
• Support implementation of business workflows and basic customizations.
• Help translate business requirements into platform configurations.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with senior developers.
• Document technical changes and perform unit testing.
• Develop knowledge of the BMC Helix platform and seek feedback from seniors.

Key Requirements

• Experience with BMC Helix or related ITSM platforms.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and service management.
• Basic skills in development and configuration on BMC Helix.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve incidents.
