Junior DevOps Developer
Summary
Assists in automating software deployment, monitoring system performance, and maintaining DevOps processes for a procurement company, focusing on CI/CD pipelines and troubleshooting.
As a Junior DevOps Developer you will be responsible for assisting with the development deployment and maintenance of software applications and systems for our company in Karachi Pakistan You will work closely with the DevOps team to implement continuous integration and delivery processes troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance This is an entry-level position suitable for recent graduates or individuals with minimal experience in the field
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to design develop and implement automated processes for software deployment
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Assist in creating and maintaining documentation related to software development processes and procedures
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall improvement of the development process
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in DevOps practices
- Follow best practices for security scalability and reliability when implementing new systems
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems and shell scripting
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python Java or Ruby
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet
- Understanding of version control systems like Git or SVN
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Salary
We are offering a starting salary of 1400$ per month for this position
