We are looking for a Junior DevOps / ELK Engineer ?to join a hybrid project in? Lisbon.
Salary range: 27.000€ - 38.200€ annual gross.
Profile:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or 0–2 years of hands-on experience in IT environments;
- Foundational understanding of observability concepts (logs, metrics, traces, golden signals);
- Exposure to or strong willingness to learn the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Beats) and OpenTelemetry;
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Windows commands, Git, CI/CD concepts, REST APIs, and containers (Docker/Kubernetes);
- Professional English C1 (mandatory); availability for on-call support and hybrid work in Lisbon (valid EU work permit required).
Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining and supporting Elastic Stack components across multi-platform environments;
- Execute health checks, routine maintenance, and alert verification following established runbooks;
- Support application teams with onboarding, log collection setup, basic dashboards, and alerts;
- Participate in release execution, incident handling, and ticket resolution under senior guidance;
- Maintain clear operational documentation and adhere to team governance, coding standards, and CI/CD practices;
- Collaborate within Agile teams to communicate progress and escalate technical risks early.
