Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer with 2 years of hands-on experience to support our existing DevOps team across multiple ongoing and upcoming projects.

The candidate should have strong fundamentals and practical knowledge of Linux, Git, CI/CD, and Docker, along with basic hands-on exposure to AWS/Azure Cloud environments.

The role will primarily support day-to-day DevOps activities including deployments, pipeline support, environment management, container management, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain existing CI/CD pipelines for application build and deployment.
• Perform application deployments across Development, QA, UAT, and other environments.
• Support day-to-day administration and troubleshooting of Linux-based environments.
• Work with Git repositories, branching, merging, pull requests, and release tags.
• Build, run, and manage Docker images and containers.
• Monitor pipeline executions, deployments, application services, and containers.
• Perform initial troubleshooting of build, deployment, Linux, and Docker-related issues.
• Support Development and QA teams with deployment and environment-related requests.
• Assist the DevOps team with basic cloud and infrastructure activities.
• Maintain deployment procedures, environment details, and basic operational documentation.
• Escalate complex infrastructure and production issues to senior DevOps engineers.

Candidate Profile

• 2 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Operations, Build & Release, or a related role.
• Strong interest in DevOps, automation, and cloud technologies.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with multiple project teams and follow established DevOps processes.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to learn and gradually take on additional DevOps responsibilities.
