Job Summary

We are hiring a DevOps Platform Engineer to support the design, automation and reliability of technology platforms supporting capital markets systems. The role focuses on infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms and operational stability in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure and automation solutions to enhance platform reliability and efficiency
  • Build, support, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes to accelerate software delivery
  • Monitor system and application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations for operational stability
  • Apply security best practices and support compliance requirements within a regulated environment
  • Collaborate effectively with development and operations teams to ensure seamless platform integration and delivery
  • Drive continuous improvement of DevOps tools and processes to increase automation and reduce manual intervention
  • Utilize scripting languages such as Python or Shell to automate tasks and improve operational workflows
  • Manage container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes to support scalable application deployment
  • Leverage cloud platforms such as AWS to deploy and manage infrastructure components
  • Demonstrate willingness to learn and responsibly apply AI-based development tools to enhance platform capabilities
  • Communicate clearly and solve problems efficiently in a fast-paced environment while working both independently and as part of a team

Required competencies and certifications

  • One to three years of relevant experience in DevOps or infrastructure roles
  • Knowledge of UNIX platforms and databases such as SQL or Oracle
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools including Git, Jenkins, Ansible, and monitoring tools
  • Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience supporting financial or capital market systems
  • Experience with banking or trading platforms
  • Knowledge of Java or other object-oriented programming languages
  • Exposure to microservices and modern application design
