Junior DevOps/Platform Engineer
Summary
Junior DevOps/Platform Engineer builds and maintains cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation using Azure, Kubernetes, and Terraform to support scalable systems.
We are looking for a Junior DevOps/Platform Engineer to join our modernization team and support the design, deployment, and maintenance of reliable and scalable infrastructure, while growing your skills in automation and cloud technologies.
Responsibilities
- Build a deep understanding of the current state of build and deployment processes and pipelines
- Support the design, build, and maintenance of infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes for the modernization team
- Contribute ideas to the future automation architecture
- Help ensure the reliability and scalability of systems through monitoring and performance optimization
- Support platform and capability deployments in different environments
- Assist in troubleshooting issues and implementing fixes across environments
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to help ensure systems are secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations
- Help develop and maintain technical documentation and standards
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering
- Basic knowledge of cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker/Podman, and Helm
- Understanding of networking with a focus on containerization
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Azure Pipelines, Terraform, Argo, and GitHub Actions
- Basic programming skills in C#, Java, or Python
- Good communication and collaboration skills in English
- Capability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
