Junior Digital Designer (Part Time)
About Cowboy Colostrum
Cowboy Colostrum is a female-founded supplement brand making high-integrity, ethically sourced bovine colostrum for hair, gut, immune, skin and muscle health. We launched nationwide at Target in October 2026 and are growing the line with new products and flavors. Our team is creative, collaborative and moves fast, and design is a big part of how we show up online.
The role
The Junior Digital Designer is a part-time role that creates the day-to-day design work for Cowboy's digital channels: Meta paid social ads, organic social and email. You will turn briefs and brand guidelines into finished assets, make new versions of ads based on performance, and help our creative team keep up with a steady run of launches and campaigns. This is a good fit for a designer early in their career who is fast, organized and eager to learn performance creative. The role starts part time, with the potential to move to full time.
What you'll do
You will make the everyday designs that keep our paid, organic and email channels full of on-brand work.
- Design static and short-form video ads for Meta in the sizes and formats each placement needs.
- Make new versions of winning ads, including different hooks, copy, crops and offers, using performance feedback from the paid team.
- Design organic social posts, stories and carousels that follow our brand guidelines.
- Design email layouts, banners and graphics for campaigns and automated flows, and prepare assets for the lifecycle team to build.
- Resize and adapt assets across channels for launches, promotions and retail moments.
- Turn feedback around quickly and meet the timelines agreed with the team.
- Keep files, templates and ad libraries organized and clearly named so the team can find them.
What you bring
We are looking for a designer with a good eye and the habits to work well on a part-time schedule.
- 1 to 2 years of experience designing digital or social assets, or a strong portfolio from internships, freelance work or school projects.
- Skill in Figma and Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Basic video editing for short-form content, using CapCut, Premiere or similar.
- A good eye for layout, type and color, and the ability to follow brand guidelines.
- An understanding of what makes a social ad work, such as a clear hook, a clear offer and a strong first frame.
- Reliable communication, and the ability to manage your own time and deadlines.
- Openness to feedback and a quick turnaround on revisions.
Nice to have
These are not required, but each would help in this role.
- Experience designing Meta ads or other paid social creative, ideally for a DTC or CPG brand.
- Experience designing emails for a platform such as Klaviyo.
- Motion graphics or animation basics.
- Photo retouching skills.
- Interest in health, wellness or supplements.
