Summary
Junior backend engineer building, testing, deploying, and supporting backend services for Accountable's Data Verification Network (DVN). Day to day: integrating external on-chain protocols and data sources, monitoring client/protocol activity (TVL, secondary markets), handling deployments and client support, and helping migrate the UI to V2. Core stack: Java, Linux; fully remote in a European time
You will develop, test, review, and deploy backend services for the Data Verification Network. You will integrate external protocols and data sources, monitor client and protocol activity, respond to technical issues, improve monitoring tools, support onboarding, and contribute to the UI V2 migration.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and review code
- Handle application deployments
- Build and iterate on new features and MVPs
- Integrate external protocols and data sources
- Monitor clients, protocol activity, TVL changes, secondary markets, and suspicious behavior
- Respond to client issues and provide technical support
- Build and improve monitoring capabilities using on-chain tracing and internal tools
- Support client onboarding and integration
- Help migrate the UI to V2
- Handle ad-hoc development requests
Requirements
- Understand backend technologies
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills
- Communicate effectively in written and verbal English
- Perform basic Linux administration and troubleshooting
