The role
We are currently looking to hire a Junior Economist with 0–2 years of experience.
The successful candidate will support economic research and quantitative modelling. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in economic theory, practical experience working with data, and a strong interest in applying both in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
The Junior Economist will translate complex quantitative data into clear, actionable insights, supporting decision-making by identifying trends, testing hypotheses, and producing forecasts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Main responsibilities
- Assisting in data collection, analysis, and translating findings into clear insights
- Supporting economic and market research and analysis
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of economic models
- Supporting forecasting and scenario analysis
- Preparing charts, dashboards, and visualisations
- Assisting in preparing presentations and briefing materials
- Collaborating with internal teams to support ongoing projects
Experience, skills and knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Data Science, or a related field
- 0–2 years of relevant experience, including internships or research roles
- Strong research, analytical, and quantitative skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, or Stata)
- Solid understanding of fundamental economic concepts and basic econometric techniques
- Ability to analyse data and present findings clearly and concisely
