Junior / Entry-Level Application Engineer 初階／新進應用工程師 (台北)

Position Summary

The Application Engineer will support the sales and engineering teams in transformer technical clarification, customer requirement review, market specification collection, and factory communication. This role is designed for candidates with an electrical engineering background and potential to develop into a transformer application specialist.

Within the first six months, the candidate is expected to understand major Taiwan market requirements, support basic technical discussions, and assist in proposal preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist sales teams in reviewing customer specifications and identifying key technical requirements and clarification items.

• Support preparation of technical clarification documents, compliance tables, deviation lists, and customer response materials.

• Join customer meetings with senior colleagues to understand customer needs and learn how transformer specifications are discussed.

• Provide basic technical support on transformer ratings, voltage levels, cooling methods, losses, impedance, noise, accessories, installation requirements, and testing requirements.

• Collect and organize transformer specifications from different Taiwan market segments, including utilities, semiconductor, data centers, industry, renewable energy, and infrastructure.

• Build a database of common transformer requirements, customer preferences, consultant specifications, and repeated technical clauses.

• Compare specifications across customers and identify similarities, differences, and special Taiwan market requirements.

• Assist in communicating customer requirements to factories and following up on technical clarification items.

• Help prepare standard templates for technical clarification, market requirement summaries, and proposal support.

• Develop understanding of transformer design principles, application scenarios, production constraints, testing requirements, and installation considerations.

候選人預期在前六個月逐步熟悉台灣變壓器應用、市場常見規格與工廠設計邏輯，並能支援基本技術討論與提案準備。

主要職責

• 支援 Sales 審閱客戶規格，辨識主要技術需求與需澄清項目。

• 協助準備技術澄清文件、符合性表格、偏差清單與客戶回覆資料。

• 與資深同仁共同參與客戶會議，學習客戶需求與變壓器規格討論方式。

• 提供基本技術支援，包含容量、電壓等級、冷卻方式、損耗、阻抗、噪音、附件、安裝與試驗要求。

• 收集並整理台灣不同市場區隔的變壓器規格，建立常用需求、客戶偏好、顧問規格與重複條款資料庫。

• 比較不同客戶規格，找出共同點、差異點與台灣市場特殊要求。

• 協助將客戶需求轉達給工廠，追蹤技術澄清項目與工廠回覆。

• 協助建立技術澄清、規格彙整、提案支援與內部報告模板。

• 持續學習變壓器設計原理、應用情境、製造限制、試驗要求與安裝考量。
