This position can be based at one of our European locations in Cork (Ireland), Freiburg or Suhl (Germany).
- Support global ERP implementations and continuous improvement initiatives, primarily using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Carry out assigned Business Central functional configuration under the direction of the ERP Implementation Manager, with configuration changes subject to review and sign-off.
- Create UAT test scripts, coordinate testing with business users, record defects, support retesting and track issues through to resolution.
- Perform hands-on data migration activities, including data preparation, cleansing, validation and loading using Excel and Business Central Configuration Packages.
- Act as a first-line contact for ERP user support, resolving appropriate issues and escalating more complex matters to the ERP Implementation Manager.
- Create and maintain ERP SOPs, user guides, process documentation and training materials, and support delivery of user training.
- Participate in requirements-gathering workshops as required and work with business users and implementation partners on assigned ERP activities.
- Identify and support post-go-live continuous improvement opportunities across Exaktera sites already using the ERP platform.
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience
- Approximately 3 years of experience working with ERP systems, ideally including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Strong functional knowledge of Business Central and a good understanding of Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory/Warehouse, and Manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with Configuration Packages, ERP data migration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test execution and defect resolution
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of key business processes, including Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Inventory/Warehouse Management, and Manufacturing
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or other ERP platforms is an advantage
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken; German language skills are beneficial
