  • Experience with relational databases and SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL), including data modelling, stored procedures and query optimisation.

  • Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating applications with third-party systems.

  • Experience with source control (Git) and CI/CD tools; exposure to cloud application deployment, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and containerisation (e.g., Docker).

  • Experience in mobile application development or low-code platforms is an advantage.

Competencies:

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong programming, debugging and database skills, with a sound understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns and application architecture.

  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Ability to translate business processes into technical solutions and to troubleshoot issues systematically through root-cause analysis.

  • Quality & Security Mindset: Commitment to writing clean, testable, secure and well-documented code, with awareness of data protection obligations.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Ability to explain technical matters clearly to non-technical users and to work effectively in cross-functional teams and with vendors.
