II. Mandatory Skills
● Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment.
● Experience in manufacturing or factory environments.
● Hands-on experience in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
● Understanding of PLCs, automation systems
● Analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Good communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work independently in field conditions.
● Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
III. Secondary / Good-to-Have Skills
● Experience in semiconductor manufacturing equipment and semiconductor manufacturing process will be a big plus.
● Familiarity with equipment maintenance standards and documentation.
● Process engineering and knowledge of semiconductor processes will be a plus.
● Experience working with semiconductor inspection and test systems will be a plus.
IV. Key Responsibilities
1. Preventive Maintenance (PM):
● Execute all scheduled preventive maintenance activities as per OEM manuals and maintenance schedules.
● Ensure timely servicing of machines to avoid breakdowns and extend equipment life.
● Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and compliance.
2. Corrective Maintenance:
● Perform immediate diagnosis and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues.
● Carry out repairs and ensure minimal downtime of machinery.
● Coordinate with OEMs or vendors for complex technical issues when required.
3. Performance Monitoring:
● Conduct daily machine walkthroughs and inspections across the factory floor.
● Monitor equipment performance using real-time data logging and analysis.
● Identify potential risks and “near-miss” failures and take proactive corrective actions.
4. Inventory Management:
● Manage on-site spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components.
● Maintain proper documentation and tracking of spare parts usage.
● Coordinate procurement to replenish stock in a timely manner.
5. Operator Training:
● Provide on-the-spot training and guidance to machine operators.
● Ensure equipment is used within defined operational parameters.
Qualification and Work experience
● Qualifications - Must Have
§ Education: B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Related Field.
● Work Experience
§ 0–1 years of hands-on experience in equipment maintenance or related areas.
