Junior Finance Manager
Description
A fast-growing premium water solutions provider is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Junior Finance Manager to join their established finance department in Cape Town. Financial Reporting Quality Control: Act as the primary gatekeeper for all outgoing financial data, ensuring every report, reconciliation, and pack is complete and accurate before submission to the Financial Manager.
Debtors & Creditors Oversight: Monitor and review monthly age analyses, ensuring the ledger accounts are fully reconciled by the respective Controllers and resolving complex or aged outstanding balances.
Management Accounts Review: Perform rigorous analytical reviews on monthly management accounts prepared by the Senior Accountant, interrogating variances and verifying balance sheet reconciliations.
Compliance & VAT Administration: Review monthly VAT reconciliations and classification of input/output VAT to ensure absolute compliance with SARS deadlines.
Reporting Calendar Management: Maintain and coordinate the monthly finance calendar, driving accountability across the team to meet all reporting deadlines.
Multi-Jurisdictional Support: Assist with intercompany reconciliations and support consolidated reporting requirements across international entities.
