Junior Frontend Developer

About the Role


Join the INLAP team as a Junior Frontend Developer helping to build and support an Angular-based application and shared UI component library. You will build your skills through close collaboration with senior team members and actively contribute to a robust, modern UI stack.

Responsibilities

  • Implement UI features and bug fixes within an Angular (v17+) standalone component framework

  • Learn and apply best practices in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and SCSS

  • Assist in maintaining the shared component library

  • Write basic unit tests with guidance from more senior developers

  • Participate in code reviews and team meetings

  • Work within an Agile/Scrum team environment, learning modern delivery workflows

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals

  • Academic or internship experience with Angular (v17+), React, or a similar frontend framework

  • Understanding of HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and basic responsive design

  • Exposure to Git version control (coursework or projects)

  • Willingness to learn and adopt best practices in frontend engineering

Nice to Have

  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (Jest, Jasmine, etc.)

  • Exposure to micro-frontend concepts or shared libraries

  • Familiarity with cloud (Azure), CI/CD, or Node.js

  • Experience working in Agile/academic teams

Location: Brno, Czechia or Bratislava, Slovakia

Working time: EMEA

Hybrid role: minimum 2 days per week in the office

Salary range: Brno: 68 000 CZK to 103 000 CZK gross/a month; Bratislava: 2600 EUR to 3900 EUR gross/a month. The actual salary is based on your skills, experience and knowledge.
