Summary
A junior full-stack developer (1–3 years experience) builds internal tools, workflows, and websites primarily with Astro and React, also contributing to back-end logic and database integration. Day to day involves responsive front-end work with modern HTML/CSS, queries and data schemas, code reviews, and collaborative delivery in an agile team.
About The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Full-Stack Developer (1–3 years of experience) with a strong passion for modern front-end design and user experience. Your primary focus will be on building internal tools, workflows and websites using Astro and React, you will also collaborate on back-end logic and work with databases to deliver complete, end-to-end tools and features.

Key Responsibilities
- Front-End Development: Build and optimize highly responsive, accessible web applications using Astro, React, and modern HTML/CSS.
- Database Integration: Assist in writing queries, managing data schemas, and connecting front-end interfaces to a variety of databases.
- Collaborative Delivery: Work closely with the rest of the development team to deliver production ready code that meets end users needs.
- Continuous Learning: Actively participate in code reviews, adopt best practices, and stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 1–3 years of professional software development experience.
- Front-End Toolkit: Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (including Tailwind, Sass, or CSS Modules), and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Frameworks: Hands-on experience with React and a strong familiarity with (or eagerness to master) Astro or similar frameworks is a must.
- Data & Databases: Fundamental understanding of database concepts
- Version Control: Comfortable using GitHub for collaboration and code review.
- Problem-Solving: A proactive, curious mindset with the ability to break down complex tasks.
- Team Player: Excellent communication skills and a desire to collaborate, share knowledge, and learn from peer feedback.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in an agile environment and balancing project priorities when necessary.
Distinct Assets (Nice-to-Haves)
- Experience configuring or deployment via Cloudflare (Workers, Pages, CDN).
- Basic familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
