A web development role focused on building and maintaining clean, responsive web applications using PHP frameworks/CMS platforms and modern JavaScript, with integration of third-party AI APIs to create client-facing, interactive features.
Key responsibilities
Develop and maintain clean, responsive web applications using PHP frameworks/CMS platforms and modern JavaScript
Connect third-party AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source LLMs) to build client-facing, interactive features on websites
Write clean database queries (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and help build or consume RESTful APIs
Translate designer layouts into smooth, interactive web elements using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks
Debug, test, and document code
Required Technical Skills
Solid baseline knowledge of PHP and familiarity with any popular PHP framework or CMS (e.g., Laravel, WordPress, CodeIgniter)
Proficient in native JavaScript (ES6+) and comfortable using frontend tools or libraries (e.g., React, Vue, or express.js) to manage asynchronous requests (Fetch/Axios)
Basic understanding of connecting to REST APIs, parsing JSON data, and a strong curiosity about prompt engineering or deploying generative AI models
Strong grasp of structural HTML5, modern CSS3/Tailwind, and fundamental database concepts
