Junior Full-Stack Engineer Internship (TypeScript / Next.js / Supabase)

Telmi is building AI-powered tools for language learning and education, through the power of podcasting. We’re a lean early-stage team working closely with teachers and schools to create engaging learning experiences for students and families. **Graduate/Junior Product Engineer (TypeScript / Next.js / Supabase)** **Location:** London preferred (Euston Square). We’re an early-stage team working closely with teachers, students, and families to build practical products with real classroom use. **About the role** We’re looking for a smart, curious, reliable early-career engineer to help us build and improve our product. This role is a strong fit for a recent graduate or someone with strong side projects, hackathon experience, internships, or freelance work. You do not need years of experience. You do need to learn fast, communicate clearly, and enjoy building. **Tech stack** - TypeScript - React / Next.js - Supabase - Vercel - Claude Code / AI-assisted development tools **What you’ll do** - Build small product features and improvements - Fix bugs and improve reliability - Work in an AI-assisted development workflow - Collaborate through regular check-ins and async updates - Document what you build and the decisions you make - Learn good engineering habits around testing, maintainability, and security **We’re looking for someone who** - Has studied computer science, software engineering, or a related field - Has built real things: side projects, hackathons, internships, freelance work, or university projects - Is comfortable with TypeScript and modern web development - Learns quickly and enjoys solving problems - Is dependable, organised, and easy to work with - Is interested in startups, AI tools, and fast iteration **Nice to have** - Experience with Next.js, Supabase, or Vercel - Interest in EdTech, AI products, or language learning - Awareness of security, privacy, or data protection - Based in London or able to spend time in person during onboarding **Compensation** - Will depend on experience, availability, and fit. **What matters most** We care more about ability, ownership, and learning speed than polished CVs.
