(Junior) Fullstack Engineer (m/f/d) for a New Product – PHP Focus
Summary
Build and maintain PHP backend services with Symfony and contribute to React/TypeScript frontends in a new product team.
- Develop and maintain production-ready backend applications in PHP using Symfony (approximately 70% of your work)
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while designing scalable software solutions following software engineering best practices
- Build and improve frontend features using React and TypeScript (approximately 30%)
- Participate in code reviews and continuously improve the quality of our codebase
- Work with Docker, GitHub, and Linux as part of your daily development workflow
- Collaborate closely with product managers and fellow engineers to translate business requirements into high-quality software
- Completed studies in Computer Science or a related field (or currently finishing your thesis)
- Strong programming skills and hands-on experience developing software in PHP through internships, personal projects, freelance work, open-source contributions, or professional experience
- Experience with React, TypeScript, or other modern frontend frameworks is a plus
- Confident working with Linux and the command line
- Experience with Git/GitHub and Docker, ideally demonstrated through your own projects (beyond university assignments)
- Good English skills (spoken and written)
