Junior Functional Security Analyst
We are looking for a Junior Functional Security Analyst to support application security throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business needs into functional and security requirements.
- Support functional and technical security specifications.
- Contribute to the Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL).
- Work with development teams to implement security controls.
- Support security testing, vulnerability management and risk analysis.
- Review vulnerability reports and document security findings.
- Help ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
- Contribute to security awareness and documentation activities.
Required Skills
- Basic experience in functional analysis and software development processes such as Agile/DevOps.
- Knowledge of OWASP, NIST, NIS2 and ISO 27001.
- Understanding of authentication, access control, encryption and software vulnerabilities.
- Familiarity with SAST, DAST and SCA tools, preferably Veracode.
- Knowledge of Secure Development Lifecycle practices.
- Familiarity with Jira, Git or Jenkins.
- Interest in vulnerability management, threat modelling and application security.
- Strong analytical, communication and documentation skills.
- Motivated to learn and develop in cybersecurity.
