Junior General Ledger Accountant (m/f)

Guardian Glass is seeking a Junior GL Accountant to join our finance team in Katowice or in Częstochowa with occasional visits in Katowice office.
In this role, you will support key accounting activities and contribute to ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our financial information. You will work closely with global and cross-functional stakeholders in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and gain hands-on experience across our financial processes.
This role follows a hybrid working arrangement of four days per week in the office and one day working from home. Working models may vary across teams based on business needs.

What You Will Do
Core Accounting & Reporting
- Support regular General Ledger (GL) postings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist month-end and year-end close activities.
- Create Finance purchase orders in accordance with internal procedures.
- Calculate customer rebates based on contracts, sales data, and internal guidelines.
- Support invoices, credit note creation, verification, and documentation handling.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support resolution of discrepancies in financial data.
- Assist in preparation of audit documentation for internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other internal teams for data gathering and process coordination.
- Respond to basic inquiries from internal stakeholders related to GL entries, POs, or invoices.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to simplify and improve everyday accounting activities.
- Participate in small process enhancement or standardization initiatives.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Foundational accounting knowledge.
- Understanding of journal entry preparation and basic GL concepts.
- Experience or exposure to Microsoft Office 365, including Excel.
- Proficient in English.

- Experience with ERP systems.
