What You'll Do
Employee Relations & Support
Assist with employee relations concerns and workplace investigations.
Facilitate employee mediations and follow up on employee grievances.
Support disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy.
Manage the HR hotline and shared HR email account, directing inquiries appropriately.
Assist temporary floater employees with securing new opportunities within the organization.
Talent Acquisition & Internal Mobility
Coordinate internal hiring and employee transfer processes.
Route applications, collect interview feedback, and coordinate transfer dates.
Verify pay rates and work assignments for hires and transfers.
Ensure all employment documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Compliance & HR Operations
Maintain confidential employee records and HR documentation.
Support compliance initiatives and regulatory requirements.
Assist with unemployment claims and Department of Labor documentation.
Monitor N95 compliance documentation and employee follow-up.
Provide administrative support for Human Resources operations.
Performance Management & Benefits
Notify management of upcoming employee evaluations.
Provide guidance on performance review completion.
Support benefits administration, open enrollment, and FMLA processes as needed.
What We're Looking For
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field with at least one year of HR experience.
Equivalent Experience Considered
High School Diploma/GED with at least three years of Human Resources and employee engagement experience.
Ideal Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and administrative abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, and recruitment.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Technology proficiency and experience working with HR systems.
Additional Requirements
Valid Connecticut Driver's License.
Salary & Schedule
Salary: $45,115 annually
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week with flexibility to meet business needs.
