Junior Industrial Maintenance Technician

About the role

From the IMAN Temporing office in El Prat de Llobregat, we are selecting a JUNIOR industrial machinery maintenance Technician, for a leading company in the oleochemical sector with almost 100 years of history. Located in Zona Franca and specialized in the manufacture and distribution of acids and fatty oils.

What you'll do

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial equipment, mainly large-scale pumps, heat exchangers, and valves.
• Cleaning and conditioning of industrial pumps to guarantee their correct functioning.
• Disassembly and assembly of industrial pumps, identifying their different parts and components.
• Support in fault detection and repair of equipment that transports different types of liquids.
• Review and monitoring of the correct functioning of equipment and facilities.
• Progressive learning of industrial maintenance techniques and procedures, with training provided by the company.

What we're looking for

• Proactive person, with initiative and motivation to learn a trade and develop professionally in the long term within the industrial maintenance field.
• Manual dexterity and ease in performing repairs and DIY tasks.
• Skill in the use of manual and electric tools (drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.).
• Ability to work in a team and willingness to be taught by experienced professionals.
• Patience, humility, and a positive attitude towards learning.
• Responsible, steady person with a good predisposition to perform manual tasks, including the cleaning and disassembly of industrial machinery.
• Commitment and interest in developing a stable long-term professional career.

What you'll get

• 3-month temporary contract with subsequent incorporation into the permanent staff.
• 40-hour work week, schedule from 08:00 to 17:30.
• Starting salary: €13.85 gross per hour.
