Summary

Junior inspection technician assists experienced inspectors with NDT and lifting equipment inspections, gaining hands-on field experience and structured training toward certification in industrial inspection roles.

NOV Egypt is seeking fresh or early-career candidates (0–2 years) with a Technical Diploma (Industrial/Mechanical or equivalent) or relevant higher technical education to join our Inspection Trainee Program. The role provides hands-on field experience assisting NDT Inspectors and Lifting Inspectors in inspection, testing, and technical support activities. Selected candidates will gain practical exposure to Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), lifting equipment inspection, and general inspection operations under supervision, followed by structured internal training and certification based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist NDT Inspectors in performing inspection activities including MT, PT, UT, ET, and VT under supervision.
• Assist Lifting Inspectors in inspection and verification of lifting equipment and accessories.
• Support field and workshop inspection activities.
• Assist in preparation of inspection reports and related documentation.
• Support preparation, verification, and handling of NDT and inspection equipment.
• Assist in equipment setup, basic maintenance, and operational checks.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry standards, and HSE policies.
• Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning.

Development Path

• Initial hands-on field exposure assisting NDT and Lifting Inspectors with structured performance evaluation.
• Enrolment in internal technical training and certification programs based on performance.
• Progressive qualification aligned with operational and inspection requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Technical Diploma (Industrial/Mechanical or equivalent) or relevant higher technical education.
• 0–2 years of experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Good English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Willingness to work in field and workshop environments.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Location & Work Setup

• On-site position at assigned projects or company facilities.
• Regular field exposure required.
• Travel to project sites or client locations may be required.
