IT Business Analyst – Vendor Management System (VMS)

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to the Vendor Management System (VMS).
Coordinate with business users, vendors, developers, and IT teams to identify business needs and system requirements.
Analyze existing business processes related to vendor registration, vendor data management, procurement, and vendor performance monitoring.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications, Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and user stories.
Support system enhancement, configuration, integration, and implementation activities for the VMS.
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), prepare test scenarios, document test results, and coordinate issue resolution.
Monitor system issues and work with technical teams to ensure the VMS functions according to business requirements.
Prepare system documentation, user guides, and conduct knowledge transfer or user training when required.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, System Analyst, or in a similar role.
Experience in business requirements gathering, business process analysis, and functional documentation.
Familiarity with BRD, FSD, user stories, process flows, and use case documentation.
Understanding of system development lifecycle (SDLC), software testing, and UAT processes.
Experience with Vendor Management System (VMS), procurement systems, Supplier Management Systems, or ERP applications is an advantage.
Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Able to coordinate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
