Junior ITAD Technician

Responsibilities:

• Test IT equipment (PCs, laptops, servers) for functionality and compliance

• Perform secure data wiping and physical destruction per industry standards

• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues on decommissioned equipment

• Track assets and document testing/destruction processes

• Package and ship IT equipment safely

• Visit client sites to collect and process IT assets

Requirements:

• Basic IT hardware knowledge, troubleshooting skills

• Understanding of data destruction protocols (NIST/DoD)

• Ability to learn and follow technical procedures

• Physical ability to handle equipment

• Strong attention to detail

• Willing to travel and adapt to changing priorities

• Team player with strong communication skills
