Junior ITSM & Web Server Administrator

We are looking for a motivated and service-oriented Junior ITSM & Web Server Administrator to support the reliable operation and continuous improvement of our IT Service Management platform and our web server environment. In this hands-on role, you will contribute to day-to-day application and web platform administration, user support, system monitoring, testing, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
You will work closely with experienced colleagues, gaining practical experience in both ITSM application management and web technologies while supporting the stability, performance, and ongoing development of the platform landscape.
Responsibilities
- Support administration of the ITSM platform
- Assist in maintaining NGINX and Windows IIS web server environments
- Monitor system health, availability and operational stability
- Support incident analysis and issue resolution
- Manage user accounts, permissions and basic configurations
- Assist with system upgrades, testing and release activities
- Support operation of interfaces and integrations
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or comparable qualification
- First experience in IT administration, application support or infrastructure operations
- Basic understanding of web technologies and enterprise applications
- Interest in IT Service Management and web server administration
- Strong willingness to learn and develop technical expertise
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Initial exposure to ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management
- Basic knowledge of NGINX, Windows IIS or web application hosting
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Familiarity with Windows Server administration
Language Requirements
- English: B2 or higher (working language)
- German language skills are considered a strong advantage
