Junior Java Engineer — Hybrid Backend & Mentorship

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Java Engineer to join our growing development team. This is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to work on real-world projects using modern Java technologies. You’ll be involved in building and maintaining scalable backend systems that power our applications.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend components using Java and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, etc.).
• Write efficient SQL queries and manage data using PostgreSQL or other relational databases such as MySQL or SQL Server.
• Collaborate with senior developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of backend services.
• Write clear and maintainable documentation for developed code and systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and object-oriented programming principles.
• Basic knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
