Junior Java Software Engineer

Junior Java engineer building data migration and integration pipelines using Java, Apache Camel, XML, and XSLT on Linux environments.

Technology stack: Linux, Java, Camel, XML, XSLT

In this role you will:

  • Assist in data migration and integration projects, moving information from various IT systems into X-Archive.

  • Develop and maintain data transformation pipelines using Java, Camel, XML, and XSLT.

  • Work with Linux-based environments to configure and deploy solutions.

  • Collaborate with senior developers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality data storage and retrieval solutions.

  • Learn and apply best practices in archiving, data security, and system interoperability.

  • Be a part of a full-stack creative team that is responsible for all aspects of ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing, and launching.

What we do expect:

  • Foundational knowledge of Java and an interest in backend development.

  • Familiarity with Apache Camel (a nice-to-have, not a must).

  • Understanding of Agile ways of working, or eagerness to learn them.

  • Good communication skills in English and Lithuanian, both written and spoken.
