We are looking for a dependable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep our Marriott hotel safe, clean, comfortable, and in good working condition. Candidates with approximately one year of maintenance or repair experience are encouraged to apply. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their skills in hotel maintenance.

Required Qualifications

• Approximately 1 year of maintenance, repair, facilities, or handyman experience.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general building repairs is preferred.
• Ability to use common hand tools and basic maintenance equipment safely.
• Good troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify and report maintenance issues.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, bending, and climbing ladders when needed.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently as well as with a team.
• Good communication skills and a helpful, guest-focused attitude.
• Willingness to follow hotel safety procedures and instructions from management.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance in guest rooms and public areas.
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete repairs promptly and professionally.
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, and equipment repairs within skill level.
• Maintain the hotel’s appearance, safety, and overall condition.
• Document completed work, report larger issues, and notify management when outside contractors are needed.
• Keep maintenance tools, work areas, and storage spaces clean and organized.
• Follow safety procedures and minimize disruption to hotel guests.
